Weekly events at the Bird in Hand

Weekly events at the Bird in Hand country pub include Bread & Dripping, Quiz nights, and Mushy Pea night!

Monday night is Bread and Dripping night at approximately 9.30pm, just help yourself

Wednesday night – always looking for new players – come and join in on our Dominoes Knockout friendly draw

Single and pairs players, novices and the more experienced are all welcome, enjoy the friendly banter! 9pm start

Thursday night is Quiz Night, you don’t have to be a genius to win. Based on a noughts and crosses system just get five in a row, four corners or most right to win. A raffle is included and we also have a card draw. Approximately 9pm start

Sunday Night is Quiz & Mushy Pea night. Similar to our Thursday quiz but you can also enjoy a free pot of mushy peas and mint sauce whilst you are contemplating your answers
